More Blue and Red

We have all been told so much about the red and blue states that you’d be forgiven for not wanting to hear anything more. But this website offers some very fascinating maps, most of which prove (well, at least hint) that the blue states are more moral and also harder working than the red states.

Now, I don’t like dividing people in these ways. After all, there are many smart liberals mired in the middle of all that redness, and most states really are purple anyway.

But the opposition (people like David Brooks) keeps force-feeding the high morals of the red staters down my true-blue throat, and it’s impossible for my far-from-perfect character not to respond in the same childish fashion. My apologies to all the good red-staters. And too bad that I didn’t catch any not-so-nice blue staters.

Here it is: Chlamydia rates by state

Morality, anyone?
