Brad Blog breaks story of Clinton Curtis
Many American Street readers may not yet be familiar with the story of a man named Clinton Curtis, who appeared yesterday before a panel of Ohio Democratic House Judiciary Committee members. His testimony, available on video, elicited audible gasps and jaw-dropping from panel members. There is a transcript of the video of Curtis’ testimony at Daily Kos.
Who is Clinton Curtis and what was his election-related programming job in September 2000?
What was his prototype computer voting program (technologically undetectable, operable with hidden keys) that could “flip the vote” so a losing candidate could become an election winner.. and why did he create such a program?
What’s the story, which was broken (and well investigated) by the Brad Blog?
One trip to freelance writer Brad Friedman’s blog will explain it all.
Read excerpt:
The programmer claims that he designed and built a “vote rigging” software program at the behest of then Florida Congressman, now U.S. Congressman, Republican Tom Feeney of Florida’s 24th Congressional District.Clint Curtis, 46, claims that he built the software for Feeney in 2000 while working at a sofware design and engineering company in Oviedo, Florida (Feeney’s home district).
Curtis, in his affidavit, says that as technical advisor and programmer at Yang Enterprises, Inc. (YEI) he was present at company meetings where Feeney was present “on at least a dozen occasions”.
Feeney, who had run in 1994 as Jeb Bush’s running-mate in his initial unsuccessful bid for Florida Governor, was serving as both corporate counsel and registered lobbyist for YEI during the period that Curtis worked at the company. Feeney was also concurrently serving as a Florida state congressman while performing those services for YEI. Feeney would eventually become Speaker of the Florida House before being elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2002. He is now a member of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee.
After hearing an Air America interview with Clinton Curtis, I think his story is worth further investigation, all tin-foil hats aside.

A Wayne Madsen story has been posted at Bellaciao.
I’ve been following the story at Iddybud.
Mark Adams is covering the story at Dispassionate Liberalism.
I’m sorry to report that Mr. Curtis’ German Shepard was allegedly shot and killed a few hours after Brad Blog published the original story. According to Brad Blog, this is the second time that Mr. Curtis has been the apparent victim of intimidation through such tactics. Another one of his dogs was killed in 2002 and Mr. Curtis suspects foul play (related to this story) in both instances.

I should think that this story, when nailed down, would be a good candidate for a blogblock…

Followup to Vote-Rigging Program Item
Looks as if it’s time to promote Wayne Masden’s story about a Republican-commissioned program that changes votes out of the tinfoil category, as it seems to be breaking into the major media. Having Democratic House Judiciary members give Cl…

I have been ranting about this very subject since way back in the spring. I forsaw that the Republicans would resort to such actions, should they realize they were about to lose their power hold in DC.
Anyone who is familiar with computers knows that any machine can be programed to do exactly what you program it to do. If the situation were reversed you can be the Republicans would have been all over this months ago. Shame on Democrats for dragging their feet.

Using a video editor, I cleaned up and added some subtitles to the election fraud video clip. Here is the cleaned up version (low and high speed copies):
