Two Cedars

Here’s a Lebanese protest that warfloggers and Bush supporters didn’t think meant anything.

A Lebanese woman burns a U.S. dollar bill during a demonstration [opposing the US invasion of Iraq] in front the United Nations House in Beirut, Lebanon . . . .

Oh, and as we all remember, literally MILLIONS of people around the world took to the streets in protest of Bush’s planned invasion of Iraq in 2002 and 2003. According to the BBC:

“Between six and 10 million people are thought to have marched in up to 60 countries over the weekend - the largest demonstrations of their kind since the Vietnam War.

Some of the largest turnouts were seen in countries whose governments have offered the staunchest support for US President George W Bush’s tough stance against Iraq, threatening military action to force it to comply with UN disarmament rules. ”

Apparently, when millions of people come out to protest George W. Bush, it’s nothing but an annoyance. Not “democracy on the march.”
