Jackboot Democracy Comes to Iraq
As most analysts admit, democracy in Afghanistan largely exists around its capital of Kabul. The rest of the nation’s residents still live under the fiefdoms of warlords, including some not much different than the Taliban.
This is Democracy Lite: less fulfilling, tastes like pisswater. So long as a semblance of free elections occurs, it apparently satisfies no women or children, but US neocons think it’s cool.
