Has the Worm Turned, or Will We Just Get a Different Worm?
It looks like GOP centrists are regaining a voice in government after all. That puts to rest the claims that Tuesday’s election results were meaningless, as the Bushkies keep insisting.
But it’s not unexpected to see moves to the center beginning in a key election year. But will the Democratic party follow that worn-out formulaic path or will it demonstrate the leadership to advance real changes so voters will have a distinctly different party to vote for? Voting for the ‘Not-Bush’ Party is not the motivator that voters long for.
