The Final Word on the Death of a Woman
The outrage by the rabid defenders of lawbreakers-without-a-liberty-portfolio, precipitated by the remarks of Lowery and Carter at Coretta’s funeral, deserves dismissal.
They were just as vocal against the truth spoken by both Kings while they lived as they are today by the truth spoken by Coretta’s eulogizers. Yet outrage, name-calling, denunciations and spin can only repress truth temporarily. Truth ultimately emerges. And truth is what sets us free.
Bush called us an oil-addicted nation. For some of us, our addiction to truth is greater, and requires no cure.
