Token Michelle
(To the tune of Jethro Tull’s “Cross-eyed Mary”.)
Who would blog on unknown, in unclicked, lonely pain –
If she could lure Freepers with her wrath?
And why risk hand and eyestrain,
Vetting facts and checking math,
If she can ride the kool-aid drinkers’ train?
Token Michelle is throwing gas once more.
It’s her vocation,
And she always knows the score.
Writes with concentration
Of the President’s new clothes,
And thinks fawning leaves her — smelling like a rose.
Pimping ‘monger campaigns — sending bricks and other toys –
Quick! Toilet brushes will soon save the day! –
All just to draw attention from big blog traffic boys,
Who pat her head and point their links her way.
Token Michelle finds it pays well to be Right.
Pajamas in her bed,
And there’s PayPal on her site.
She keeps angry maws fed
With new swift boats for the throng.
She can front for those who shun light,
Smiling as she mimes their song.

Careful with that axe, Acheron! Jesse is kicking ass and taking names.

This is great. Love it. And how’d you know I’m an old school Tull fan?
