White terrorists don’t need a wall

Do we build a wall to protect us from Canadians? If so, it’ll take millions of Latinos to build it.

This crap about tying illegal immigration to national security oughta end pretty soon, because the reality is there’s no unbreachable fence. And the terrorists who actually did hurt us on 9-11 didn’t cross either border on the ground.

Stemming the tide of illegal immigration remains an important goal for other sensible reasons. But walls are not sensible solutions. They’re just useless porkbarrel projects designed to appease rightwing xenophobes.
