The Old Gray Mare is headed for the Glue Factory
Per the AP, there may be little left of the horse after going through this rendering plant:
Coulter, the acid-tongued conservative with a new book out, and Carlin, the quick-witted, antiestablishment comedian who’s in the voice cast for the new animated film “Cars,” were booked at separate times for the NBC late-nighter, a spokeswoman said Monday.
But the duo’s meeting could produce serious fireworks for “Tonight,” which usually limits its political fodder to Leno’s bipartisan monologue jokes
I’ve never seen Carlin go on a direct personal attack approach with his comedic genius, and perhaps the target is too big and easy to lure him to it this time. But if there were ever a yin and yang moment, where a supernova and black hole shared the same stage, as big as this pairing, I can’t recall it.
Colbert? Jon Stewart vs. Tucker Carlson? Both classic. But against a guy with nearly 50 years experience skewering sacred cows, they’re amateurs. Who knows what’ll happen, though? Considering how low she’s sunken in her attacks on widows, I wouldn’t be surprised by anything she might face in Carlin’s gunsights.
For once, Leno may be more worth watching than Letterman.
Just consider what happened when Carlin appeared with God:

Wow, tomorrow night! I can’t wait.
I don’t know if there will be any personal addressing back and forth between the guests. If there is, I wonder who’s going to throw out the first gauntlet. Carlin would do so indirectly, I’m sure. I wonder if Coulter’s just been salivating at a chance to savage “the old hippy”.
At long last, something way more potentially entertaining than even funny headlines and ads
He’s got to do something to make up for his inordinately rambling book that he made me wade through…!
