Of Our Team Effort

Current members are listed above. But many contributed before, some now blogging giants and some who blog no more.

Asterisks* throughout the sidebars denote the full roster of our talented team, past and present.

In the category below are those whose blogs are defunct, or blog extremely rarely, or who never had their own blog at all.

But it is a partial list, as all other past members are categorized by region, topic or both, elsewhere in these sidebars.

The Top Ten best reasons to vote

(This could take you awhile, if you want the full impact of all the videos. And I think the full impact is useful to maintain our motivation.)

Why You and I Need To Vote:

10) Because the private decisions of families are not the business of government.

.
.
.

9) Because we are Values Voters. We value truth and justice, among other principles.

.
.
.

8) Because we are better than this.

And there is still so much repair we must do.
.
.
.

7) Because we deserve a compassionate precedent.

.
.
.

6) Because profiteering from war is intolerable. Because oil profiteering is deadly. Because corporatism should never supercede the value of lives, of workers, and of our environment. And it should not own our government.

Because we can be more creative than that.

.
.
.

5) Because we really DO care about them.

.
.
.

4) Because it’d be nice to be Number One.

.
.
.

3) Because we need no more botched punchlines that insult our troops.

.
.
.

2) Because we need to be more secure than this: for two months, the recipes for the most dangerous weapon in the world was provided on the Internet. In pursuit of political ends, our national security was seriously compromised by our own government.

.
.
.

1) Just for the harmony of it all.

.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
And if that’s not enough to convince you, remember how much shame they’ve brought to our nation. Remember, you are voting to say “No More!” And remember, after all the sacrifices of others, we can’t let them fool us again, rob us of democracy, divide us from each other, or outhustle us in turning out the vote.

.
For the 3,020 who died on 9/11,
because the warnings were ignored.

For the 1,836 who died in Louisiana and Mississippi,
and the 705 missing and presumed dead,
because Nero fiddled while Rome drowned.

For the 2,836 troops who have died for lies, lies and more lies.

For the hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqi civilians who are unimpressed with this version of democracy.

Vote for THEM.

And let us comfort each other.

I mean it. VOTE!
