The Fat Lady’s singing Alberto’s name

The Purge-bone’s connected to the Illegal-Wiretap-bone. The Illegal-Wiretap-bone’s connected to the Valerie-Plame-bone. And Murray Waas provides the details and possible conflicts of interest as the skeleton’s unearthed.

Now Patrick Leahy has some others to subpoena, guys not afraid to tell it like it was.

But will that cause a Showdown at the Stonewall Corral?

It looks like High Noon for Gonzalez or Bush, and neither is the sheriff. I predicted March 23rd would be Alberto’s final day, but now I wonder if he’ll last that long. I hope Leahy keeps the spotlight on, even if he goes. He’s holding all the aces, so there’s no reason to agree to fold.

Repeat after me: what did the president know and when did he know it?
