Is Edwards out?
One can read anything they want into this pending press conference. Speculation abounds.
There would be no conference if Elizabeth is completely healthy. Which means there’s either been a cancer reoccurence or worse, that the cancer’s come back and metastisized.
All signs suggest it’s the former, which means, short-term, that his roadtruips will be shorter or temporarily suspended, but his campaign will continue from their porch.
Longer term, of course, it’s harder to assess what this will mean. I don’t imagine John would even want to be president without Elizabeth working with him. More than any president since FDR or Woodrow Wilson, this pair is an actual team.
So, temporarily, his campaign will be setback a bit, no matter what he does. More important is this: Elizabeth, I wish you a speedy recovery. To me, that matters far more than who our next president is.

first i wept but now i see they are going to soldier on / bless them / never give in to an illness / i am a cancer survivor rather minor compared to Elizabeth but nonetheless ….
