Compare and Contrast

The Illegally Installed Drunken Cokeheaded Murder Monkey yesterday, refusing to let anyone else do any decidering about the illegal invasion he unilaterally engaged in against the wishes of his own citizenry:

Good evening. Twelve weeks ago, I asked the Congress to pass an emergency war spending bill that would provide our brave men and women in uniform with the funds and flexibility they need.

Instead, members of the House and the Senate passed a bill that substitutes the opinions of politicians for the judgment of our military commanders. So a few minutes ago, I vetoed this bill.

One of those military commanders who made some judgments that were unacceptable to the Cokespoon Cowboy:

Respectfully, as your former commander on the ground, your administration did not listen to our best advice. In fact, a number of my fellow Generals were forced out of their jobs, because they did not tell you what you wanted to hear — most notably General Eric Shinseki, whose foresight regarding troop levels was advice you rejected, at our troops’ peril.

The rest of the Giggling Murderer’s hypocritical lies about the bill he petulantly can’t be bothered to sign can be found here.

The full text of one of his former generals (who, ironically, he wouldn’t listen to, and instead substituted his own opinions, based on his extensive (cough) military experience and his superior (cough) military intelligence) can be found here.

Funny how reality doesn’t seem to enter into the Putsch bubble, innit? And let’s not even get into the hypocrisy of making the sort of statements emanating from the White House now, after you’ve stolen the presidency (twice!), and making this statement in 1999:

[snip]

The Idiot Son of an A$$hole, in Austin, criticized President Clinton’s administration for not doing enough to enunciate a goal for the Kosovo military action and indicated the bombing campaign might not be a tough enough response. “Victory means exit strategy, and it’s important for the president to explain to us what the exit strategy is,” Drinky McDumbA$$ said.

The rest of the Texas Souffle’s original opinion about timetables in war (before he flip-flopped on the issue) can be found here.

* - it’s a horking big quarterstaff. I smack in on the page, and voila! - instant emphasis.

And if you believe that, you’re probably drank too much Republican’t kool-aide over the last six years…
