Bush Ignores Bin Laden Still
Today’s the sixth anniversary of when George Bush officially began ignoring the threat of Isama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda. Warned of a pending attack on the US, the president promptly went on vacation.
Post 9/11, he was quoted saying he really didn’t think about him and didn’t know where he was. If Bin Laden’s forces strike us again, remember that ignoring him is official policy begun on August 6th, 2001, by The Ignorer.
A commemorative graphic suitable for framing is available.
It was my Mom’s 76th birthday that day, so when I call to tell her Happy Birthday! today, we’ll raise a cross-continental toast to the day we all gained the most ignorant president in US history.
Others determined to remember the date that The Ignorer helped change everything are listed here.
