My first thought was, maybe he can do for the country what he did for Clarksville, Indiana:
Nancy Kraft, vice chairperson of the Clark County Democratic Party and wife of council president Paul Kraft, said she welcomes a Republican challenge. Having more on the ballot is always a good thing, she said. Otherwise voters don’t really have a choice.
She said there has been Republican challengers in the past, and that she and her husband are not used to getting a free trip to the office. But, she admitted that in Clarksville and county-wide, Republican candidates have been scarce.
Murphy concedes that as well. The Republicans have not been incredibly active in Clarksville in recent years because they feel they won’t get a fair shake in elections, he said.
But alas, ’tis not to be, for the Clarksville wunderkind has stepped down from his national post just 3 weeks after gaining it. Because he’s now President of the Young Republican Rapists.
Just imagine what a promising group he’ll be leading now!
