Sen. Larry Craig Joins the “Republican Bathroom Johns”
Roll Call (through Raw Story) is reporting that Sen. Larry Edwin Craig (R-ID) was arrested in a men’s room of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport June 11, for lewd conduct and plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.
The Senator claims it was a “he said/he said misunderstanding”. (Well, you know how bad acoustics are in airport bathrooms.)
Does anyone know if there are black men in Minnesota that could have made him nervous?
Senator Craig was outed by blogger Mike Rogers last October on the Ed Schultz radio show and denied the accusation as “ridiculous” at that time. As another vocal anti-gay Republican, Craig’s own homosexuality has been disclosed by several of his partners previously.
Oh. Right. His alleged partners. Another “he said/he said/he said/he said/he said/he said/he said/he said vs. Craig said misunderstanding.”
Update: More details via …
BooMan, on the footsies.
Howie Klein points out the word has already reached his constituents in the local media.

I would be interested in knowing how this story was kept out of the mainstream media since the middle of June.
I would also like to point out that the media outlets spents less time on Going Going Gonzo quitting, Ted Nugent’s Death Threat Concert, and this story, combined, than they did on Hillary’s cleavage.
