Blackwater on Blackwater Crime
I’m not sure there’s as much irony as Josh thinks in the oversight of Blackwater by Blackwater. Sure, it’s new because overpaid elected representatives are delegating away big parts of their responsibilities, probably so they can spend more time begging for alms from their corporate owners.
But why is it so different than Congress investigating the corruption, cronyism and war crimes of the Bush administration when Congress was the group that enabled them and still enables them?
Our government exempted itself from submitting to the judgment of the World Court, for the very same reason.
