Now will Al go to Disneyland?

With a Love Story marriage, having paved the way for the Internet to get rolling bigtime, an Oscar and a Nobel Peace Prize in his lockbox for promoting awareness of a danger in a way that could yet rescue the entire planet, people want to know what Al Gore plans to do next.

Run for President? Puh-lease! I’ve never posted about the possibility because from statements he’s made, it’s been clear that Al’s found his calling at a level far above the cash-fuelled elective world.

He would, of course, accept a compromise nomination at a deadlocked convention. That’s an unlikely scenario but keep it in mind, just in case.

Like Jimmy Carter before him, he’ll be denigrated forever by spiteful rightists, not one of them capable of rising from their pool of venom to achieve 1/10th of the visionary things he’s moved towards fruition. That’s not to say he’s a messiah nor even a saint. But he’s been doing positive things for others since before he entered politics and he’s going to do more still.

In spite of the gnashing teeth to the right of his stage.

Could Nobel Prize Spur Gore To Run In ‘08?…

Al Gore could win the Nobel Peace Prize tomorrow. Could a win spur him to jump into the 2008 preside…

A Nobel and an Academy Award. How many people can say they won BOTH?

I am not really a Gore fan. I hold a BIG grudge against him for not having Clinton campaign for him in Florida (the REAL reason he is not president).

But still, not a bad couple of years resume-wise.
