Will Dodd step up to kill Bush’s illegal wiretapping amnesty plan?
Jane Hamsher channels an excellent suggestion by Atrios: ask Chris Dodd to put a hold on the bill.
Not only would that effectively stop the effort but it could give Dodd’s campaign a big lift. And such atrocious bills require muscular leadership to retain our Fourth Amendment (and maybe our democracy, as well).
So how about it, Senator Dodd? Are you enough of a leader to join the top tier Democratic candidates? For all our sakes, I hope so.
But just in case, ask your own Senators to do it, as well. Get out your email pencils or cellphones, fellow moonbats, these could be the most critical activism moments you’ll ever spend.
