Paul Krugman joins Atrios in wondering how dumb Obama can really be
‘If it ain’t broke, fix it‘ is a pretty weak battle cry. And for a guy who has chosen to go against the conventional wisdom (going negative works, targeting young voters doesn’t, and the partisan divide is not a voter’s issue), it does seem especially odd that he’s now relying on the Republican tactic of scaring people nearing or in retirement.
