Democracy, Bush style

While I think Chavez’ proposal was way too complex and was a bad piece of sausage making, I think it’s ironic that our government opposes Chavez’s, which is the result of democracy in action, while allying with a wholly undemocratically acquired government.

Does this mean Bush is finally done touting the spread of his brand of democracy and will now be content to support any type of government so long as it’s one he thinks he can control?
