Surprising endorsements roll in

One of the most successful woman in politics today. A Democrat who co-wrote the seminal study on terrorism that was ignored, well before the 9-11 attacks.

Both endorsed Obama. And he got some surprisingly positive words from a Republican governor, as well.

Theorists might claim Sanford’s thinking Obama would be easier to beat. But that certainly can’t be the motive of a powerful woman like Napolitano. Or Hart, who must prefer his foreign policy approaches.

And none of them are under 30, or driven by fads or hipness. What should an analyst think?
