On Edwards, Clinton and Obama
I encourage everyone to read Matt Yglesias today, plus Paul Krugman and Ezra Klein. There’s plenty to mull over in each of those and think they each bring some vital points to the fore.
I can’t add more right now, as I’m busy doing the crazy runaround before taking a week off for a family reunion, my first serious time off in 2-1/2 years. However, I encourage you to return for my magnum opus on all the issues they raise, because I recently adjusted my opinions on the Democratic race, based on added research, in addition to these campaign developments. Tonight or early tomorrow I’ll get that online.
I believe there’s far more worth considering than those three cover in those articles and it’ll be well worth anyone’s time to hear my added thoughts. Unless, of course, your opinion’s already set in stone and you’re one of the many bloggers just doing the contortions of logic necessary to justify why your candidate still is cool.
Homey isn’t going to play that game. I plan to review all three of the leading democrats, who I can vote for and who might not deserve a vote from anyone. With solid reasons why.
And don’t expect, based on what I’ve written before. You may be surprised. So just consider the words of those three gents and others, if you wish. And y’all check back.
In the meantime, pay attention to what the other teammates at AS are saying. It’s vital. And there’ll be a quiz.

I wouldn’t believe a word Krugman says. His hatred of Obama has blinded him.
I read a diary somewhere else that Krugman said, Obama has no plan for alternative energy.
Well, someone just posteed that there is at least five plans on Obama’s web site.
You are like a Hillary surragate. Rather have someone else do your lying for you.

Ken, STFU. You don’t have a clue what my position is with regards to Krugman’s points about Obama or my thoughts on Obama.
Your comment demonstrates an immaturity level I don’t see often at this blog. So you like Obama. Tell me who you are and why you support him. Otherwise you’re just a mouthy troll without an argument. Beyond guessing my thoughts and whining, do you have anything substantive to add?

I will wait for your opus major before commenting in depth, Kevin, but I will say that Obama has a long history of corporate-friendly policies, most recently defending the abominable Peru and Panama trade deals pushed through in the dark by DLC stalwarts Pelosi, Emanuel, and Reid, aided by a surprisingly docile Chuck Rangel. Obama is as much a Big Business Buddy as Hillary, and that’s saying something.

Speaking of Opus Majors Kevin, I finished (part one) of mine on the state of the state-by-state polling data you might want to check out before you finish your dissertation. Bottom line, this thing is far from over, and judging by the new Nevada numbers, it’s still anyone’s race.
I’ll do an update in time for the weekend here.
