Making violent people pawns results in deadly blowback. If we get all the world’s elected officials to write that 1,000 times on a blackboard, do you think they’ll get it?

Live by the sword, die by the sword, as the saying goes. Our government did the same thing by supporting Saddam Hussein in his war against Iran. I can’t think of a government throughout history who haven’t resorted to similar tactics.

Of course, blowback’s more high tech now with the potential of greater casualty counts.
