The Socialist Bush expands welfare plan while costs skyrocket, dependency grows
Remember when it was “just 6 more months” ? Several times it was ‘just six months more.” Now it’s ten… years more, with the latest forecast.
2003 to 2018 is 15 years, rivaling the Vietnam War. Children are raised for 18 years and with welfare reform, almost nobody can qualify for welfare for anything close to 15 years.
There were no nukes, nor nuke development. No WMDs. Saddam was captured before 2004. 25 million people can’t police the nation, or defend against foes. Will they even be potty-trained by 2010?
In addition to this massive welfare program, how many thousands of Americans will die on daycare duty?
I’m not blaming the victims here; it’s the inept, do-nothing, useless POS government officials I’m pointing to, some of whom - like Chalabi - move from millionaire to billionaire, profiteering at our expense. Democracy? Hah! It’s a kleptocracy, an idiocracy, a sick bloody joke.
If Iraq can’t wipe nor scratch its own butt, they should be overthrown, by any nation dumb enough to take it on. Bush didn’t create a democracy, he created a failed state. And the fastest solution requires the dismissal of every member of that crooked government. Let the citizens choose a king afterward or any form of government they desire.
This baby step stuff is a load of crap. The Sunni minority has already demonstrated its capacity to get the job done, pushing out foreign fighters. Maybe it’s just a Shia weakness. It’s so easy suckling at Uncle Sam’s tit that they refuse to go through puberty.
Thank you, George Bush, Dick Cheney, Don Rumsfeld, and the rest of the Bush crew. You created the world’s largest welfare program in 5 years and our young men and women are dying from it. I wonder if we deported you and your families to Baghdad to lead them to independence how long it would take.
The worst part is, Bush plans to codify this dependency in a treaty by mid-summer to try and create a relationship that no successor can unravel. Based on the performance of Congress thus far, they’ll probbly give him a medal and a blowjob for doing it.

Just wondering: can’t the next president just ignore and cancel any treaties that this madman puts in place? I mean, when he was first installed, he unilaterally chose not to honor treaty obligations that he didn’t want to, without even bothering to check with Congress. Why can’t anyone else do the same? Particularly when this kind of treaty activity (the kind where nobody else agrees that it should be done) is being done.

Good questions. However, based on the way George can do anything and Democrats can’t, I think it should be fairly obvious. He possesses voodoo because he sold his soul to the devil in return for the gifts of unlimited power and humorous speech.

Inevitably, no amount of our wet nursing will suffice for nation building. Iraq has to do that it on its own and although the violence is down overall, our soldiers are still dying on an almost daily basis and there are still significant challenges which will not be resolved any time soon.
I wasn’t surprised to read this news, indeed I predicted our presence was intended for years, not months
