Welcome to post-judicial America

A war hero, wrongly detained as a prisoner without rights for years, died in custody.

This is our flag, our standard for the world. It has been torn, burned and pissed on by the president. It was a clear case of mistaken identity by our judicial system, which clearly thought the guy from Crawford, Texas had the capacity to be president. He mighta done okay, too, if he’d only had a heart, a brain and a soul.

    Hi Kevin,
Thanks for picking up on the article that Carlotta Gall and I wrote for today’s New York Times. For further articles about Guantanamo, and information about my book “The Guantanamo Files: The Stories of the 774 Detainees in America’s Illegal Prison,” please visit my website: http://www.andyworthington.co.uk/
    With best wishes,
    Andy

  2. Kevin Hayden Says:

Will do so, Andy. Thanks for the well-done story.
