Chickenocrats deserve to be plucked
I’m wholly supportive of Matt Taibbi’s points here: the Democratic leadership of Reid and Pelosi have failed Americans, American troops and Iraqis by surrendering to Bush and Cheney. Despite the controversy it’s provoked, I’m also in agreement with Chris Bowers. The handling of the primary voting in Michigan and Florida, coupled with superdelegate voting, could cause me to abandon the Democratic Party permanently.
Being an independent may have little impact on changing things but I’ll at least be spared forever from any future hope that the Democratic Party will change anything important at all.
Along with my overall analysis of the remaining primary contests earlier today, let me add that the Michigan plan is not likely to change the outcome. But just as I said that TX and OH would be key, I’ll add that the disposition of the Florida delegate count could, very easily, reverse the outcome should Obama emerge as the delegate leader after the final June 3rd primary.
In which case, I’ll bid adieu to Democratic Party politics. I might have 5 to 7 presidential elections in me still, and though my vote loss won’t matter to anyone at all, I’ll be thrilled to see winning presidential candidates claiming mandates by winning 25% or less of eligible adult votes as a majority of Americans that forgo presidential elections continues to grow.
You can call it unpatriotic ignorance and apathy but when our government kills without reason or remorse and runs roughshod over the law, it deserves its declining legitimacy, while they’ll claim they won a majority with a perfectly straight face.
I don’t count to them? Then I owe no respect to any of its laws or officeholders. I’ll save that for every outlaw or anarchist that laughs derision at a system as broken and destructive as ours is.
Got a problem with that? Deport my ass. Except you can’t, because you lack the will or power to do so. The only thing worse than a chickenocrat, after all, is a retardican who tries to play a bully verbally but can’t back up their drivel with anything real at all.

The hope for me is the Obama is not cut from the same cloth as Pelosi, Reid, and Clinton.
My fear is not that he is, but that they will impede his progress and stifle his agenda and planned reforms.

Gee, you mean it was actually about positioning for the 2008 elections?
Wow, who woulda thunk it?
