Jonathan Chait, why do you hate women?

He doesn’t, of course. But that’s become the ‘why do you hate America?’ refrain so typical of Republican spinners in 2002, 2004 and 2006.

Misogyny is the new dismissive, proferred by the team of Republican Light. I long resisted the charge by Obamaphiles that Clinton was aiming so low, but in the past three weeks, I’ve been impressed by the reality that Team Clinton is aiming lower still. Chait has it exactly right.

Don’t say it can’t get any lower than this because Team Clinton will prove you wrong.
