Obama plans to dispel ridiculous notion that there’s racists in the country
Okay, not really, but he’s finally going to quell Americans’ fears that he might be black. He mght be white, too, but as is known, one drop of black blood gets one labeled black. And that makes one prone to be a criminal who can dance, who wants to steal your woman and daughters, and will likely turn Muslim, attending a Christian church while secretly building nukes.
Watermelon and chitlings will be served after his speech. Just give him your wallet and no-one gets hurt.
Silly? There’s plenty of people left who are dangerously silly like that. Mississippi is a prime example, as are other deep South states and rural areas of states all over the country. Drive through Mississippi Delta country sometime, rural Georgia, Northern Idaho, etc. You’ll be shocked, especially by the third world aura of Mississippi.
Obama’s speech on race is due. It won’t change the minds of racists but it will confront the stupidity head on that’s been hovering over the Democratic primaries. It’ll be more effective than shouting ‘racist!’ And if Obama can help heal the racial divide, that will be a great accomplishment by itself.

Wow. JPE, I never heard that line before. Let’s see, Hillary said, Bill said it, Hannity said it, Limbaugh said it.
No need to have a brain when you can steal cliches like you just did.
Now let’s deal with the racists. You are right, they are there, and they would never vote for Obama on the issues. But our great media, like jpe, just repeated every stupid thing they hear, with no facts.
This will be like Archie Bunker. When he first came out, a lot of people said, wow someone speaking for me. Then it sunk in that they were actually being made fun of.
It looks like racism will always be with us. But we can outnumber them and make them useless. Watched the ESPN special last night. Black Magic Showed what life was like for minority college basketball players back in the fifties and sixties. They showed the films of the black kids trying to go to a white school. They were being shouted at and spit at the entire way.
Barack will rise above and we will laugh at it at election night. Meanwhile Cheney will be spending his billions made from Halliburton and laughing about all the lives he cost. And which one will the media cover more.
The good news. I hope we see the news media is nothing more then the National Enqurier
