The Resurrection of Jesus the Nigger
In the dialogue about race, who invited the mental giants and moral midgets?
Yeah, it’s Easter, and if nothing else can drive home the parallel, the crucifixion of Jesus should. He was murdered for being different, rebellious towards the teachings of the status quo authorities, hanging out in a gang with the common rabble, claiming himself to be The Greatest, preaching in different ways, upsetting the merchants in the temple.
And he was olive-skinned, not Nordic pink. So was his Mom. Imagine, angels declared her to be without sin and she wasn’t even Aryan.
Yes, in the race dialogue, many will berate Instapunk for his words, but I say kudos to him, for saying out loud what many harbor in their heart and speak of only within small circles. Instapunk doesn’t shrink from his fear but exposes it publicly.
His list of niggers is incomplete, though. He should, at least, provide them in pairs:
- Jeremiah Wright, John Hagee, Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson
- O.J. Simpson and Chris Benoit
- Marion Barry and Cindy McCain
- Alan Iverson, Ty Cobb and Pete Rose
- William Jefferson and Duke Cunningham
- Louis Farrakhan and Ariel Sharon
- Mike Tyson and Dave Hilton, Jr.
That’s the thing he never addresses, though, the fear the minority feels at the hands of the majority niggers. Ask Abner Louima who the niggers were. Ask Harriet Tubman. Ask Harriet Washington.
That’s where Instaputz and others like him deserve derision. They live in fear of the unknown, completely oblivious to the fears many Black Americans have of the known. He fears “tee shirts down to their knees — and jeans belted just above their knees” without realizing that some people - including me - worry about the gray-suited guy with the red power tie.
But Barack Obama? What in hell does he have to do with any gangsta rapper or any convicted criminal?
Instapunk resurrects public racism for Easter when it deserves to be left in its crypt. But he’s hardly the exception. He’s the rule.
