Bush stays behind curtain for economic charade; sends flying monkeys as surrogates

The nation’s first MBA - which I suspect means Must Bankrupt All - is letting Bernanke and Congress carry the load. Is there any surprise to the recession-infested neoconomy his 7+ years have brought us? Really, this is such a simple economics lesson that any fourthgrader can get it. Consider:

The second most expensive war in US history, after WWII.

More than $9 billion MIA and unaccounted for, in Iraq. Just ‘poof’ and no-one can say how.

Think ‘no-bid’ non-competitive contracts and the worst examples of war profiteering in US history.

He spent more than all the other presidents in US history, combined.

Gasoline was $1.30 when he took office. Regular hit $3.50 last month in several states. Most of the rise in oil prices coincides exactly with the launch of the War on Iraq.

Giving huge tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans also cost the US Treasury.

Think what he did to Harken Oil.

When you think ‘champs’ do you think ‘Texas Rangers’?

Remember his biggest fundraiser, Kenneth Lay, CEO of the crooked Enron?

Record profits for all oil producers: Exxon, Chevron, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Russia, Texas. And they make you pump your own gas.

Everytime he gets something wrong, he demands to get a do-over. Do-overs double costs and we have given him way too many.

Now he’s asking for the biggest do-over of all: elect John McCain.
