I’m amazed about this fact about Puerto Rico

No US President has visited it since 1963, till Bill Clinton showed up yesterday.

And his capacity to wow crowds elsewhere was muted by the language and cultural barriers. I also think both Dem candidates should propose letting Puerto Ricans vote in the general election, even if they lack statehood. Spreading democracy to US territories first would be a perfect counterpoint to Bushpolitik and McCainpolitik.
