The true measure of racism
It’s stupid to define Bill Clinton as a racist. Serious racism is far more observable in GOP circles. And while I’m certain that pockets of racism exist in every state in the nation, there are some communities where few make any attempt to hide it. And there are entire states where it’s abundantly clear.
In this primary season, the real standout in racial polarity has been Mississippi, which also is our blackest state with its 35% African-American population. It’s not a new revelation that Republicans have exploited it since the 1968 presidential campaign, just as Democrats did within those states in the years before.
Part of the reason for this was many of those racist Democrats simply switched their party registrations or stay Dems while voting for Republicans.
15%? It’s way higher than that in most of the Southern states. It’s probably higher in two or three other states, too. It’s abhorrent and based in ignorance, but there’s been political operatives like Karl Rove advancing it rather openly.
Can Barack Obama beat McCain anyway? Sure, as a majority of the country can still outvote the ignorants, simply by showing up at the polling booths. Eventually, evolution will reduce the number of mental defectives in our country who think in such hateful terms. And in the meantime, our most effective weapon against them is to mock them mercilessly. And to vote politicians advancing such divisions to preside over the areas they’re best suited to serve. Hell, for example.
It’s also a fate we should grant to woman haters in equal measure.

This essay has to be passed around. MSNBC has displayed the ultimate in bias and race bating, which it had been doing from get go yet always blaming Bill Clinton for race bating. A few days ago Brian Williams hosted an open discussion about race in America MSNBC. A huge disappointment or more over a tragic mistake that exploded right on the air waves.
A huge list of hypocritical comments span the discussion but for me two jumped out so much. One is the on going reparations and apologies for wrongs done by complicit Blacks Negro leadership that sold off their own kind to the White Slave traders during the time. Apologies should also come from the Black Kingdom and tribes of Africa that sold off their problems to slave Traders for profits. Not just White Traders who made offers for the trade.
The second was very startling and really charged up the audience likely all America that was watching this was interesting. One of the Black commentators made the exclamation that babies from Black - White integration are prettier then from Black – Black parenting. I was astounded but very much suspected that might be something to wonder were God giving is. Then, Barack Obama is displaying the reality hidden through the ages are manifest is Obama by Black – White parenting is the ultimate racial situation. But does that just qualify for the ultimate in leadership positioning of the most powerful country in the world? Not really to me. Now America has an extraordinary cultural dilemma seeded by MSNBC clearly has developed questions and opened Pandora’s Box. The race bating Mainstream Media channel, MSNBC that disserves Keith Olberman’s worst person’s award. Do you think that will happen? That will be a surprise.
All cable all blogs all radio are silent, something is happening.
To me this has got to be the biggest racial comment ever and not by the candidates, thats what important to me, this is media driven.

Clinton is not racist. He does, however, understand that fear moves voters. This is why the Clinton campaign constantly says (again, today) that a black candidate cannot win.

This is less of a factor than it appears at first glance, because if they’re that racist or sexist, they’re already die-hard Republicans. It’s not like people who have a problem voting for an AA or a woman are all thinking “Hmmm, I like his [her] stand on health care, the war, the environment, Social Security, the infrastructure, the economy, education, taxes . . . oh, wait, he’s [she’s] black [a woman]!!? Well, screw him [her], then.”
I think that Obama understands that there’s a sizeable crowd out there that he needn’t waste his time trying to court–not so sure about Hillary.
