McAuliffe: Clinton might accept 50% of the MI, FL delegates
As he makes it clear that the real problem is knocking out 100% - which was a choice each campaign had representatives in on - he might wish to demur till the Rules and Bylaws committee meets, but he indicates that 50% would be fair, just as it was when he headed the DNC. Let the word go forth: that’s where the end of this primary is: 50% of the FL and MI delegates seated.
He set the benchmark; let’s not toss out that bench, too. Otherwise there’s no point to having any rules at all.

This is fine as long as the 50% also applies to the superdelegates. Those are the folks who keep pushing this disastrous idea of moving up the primaries. They need to lose some of their privilege so they take the whole process more seriously.

Whatever else you do, make sure you take away the MI and FL superdelegates’ votes. They’re the ones who should be punished for breaking the rules and screwing this up.
That’s right Debbie Dingell — no soup for you.
