Cranky Old Man Attacks Young Whippersnapper

Via Mark Kleimann: “Why, when I finished the naval academy near the bottom of my class and started my habitual plane-crashing, Obama was in grade school, instead of fighting in Vietnam, the wuss.”

Why is it that supposedly ’strong-on-defense’ Republicans are always the ones who send troops into battle without bulletproof vests, underfund the VA so PTSD-afflicted veterans go untreated, and prefer the reduced benefits of the GI Bill that Reagan initiated in the post-Vietnam era instead of the one that was provided WWII and Korea veterans?

Here’s a hint: look at the retirement pay and benefits officers like McCain got and compare it to what enlisted grunts got. It’s called ‘elitism.’ Supporting the troops has limits, yanno.

    McBush actually has less than 20 hours combat time. He did more damage to the US Navy than he did to the North Vietnamese. More damage in fact than the North Vietnamese did to the US Navy.
    I bet they gave him medals.
