Hey Gallup, Make Up Your Mind

Honestly this takes the cake. It is simply useless polling information, and I’m dumber for having read them.

Gallup Daily: Obama 48%, McCain 40%Barack Obama’s lead over John McCain has settled back slightly to a 48% to 40% margin among registered voters in Gallup Poll Daily tracking conducted July 25-27

and…

Gains for McCain in latest USA TODAY/Gallup Poll — Republican presidential candidate John McCain moved from being behind by 6 points among “likely” voters a month ago to a 4-point lead over Democrat Barack Obama

Dick “Toe-Sucker” Morris was on Hannity and His Ego to explain what’s going on and put it all in perspective. the problem isn’t the polls, methodology, representative sample, weight or day of the week. The problem is that Obama isn’t winning by 20 points — thus he’s losing. Naturally.
