Were these four planning to assassinate Obama?

If they weren’t, it seems a pretty stupid move to claim they were there for that purpose. If they were speed freaks, the possibility exists they were simply demonstrating the brain fry that can accompany that useless occupation, and talking smack.

Yet it could have been a serious plot and in any case, it serves to remind us how many violent racists still exist in this country. And the courage it takes for Obama to even run for the presidency.

I hope the men are dealt with as harshly as the law permits for even suggesting they were planning to kill Obama. And it’s certainly time for Senator McCain to denounce anyone proposing such a hateful murder. I’ll be waiting for some sign of intolerance of racism at its worst.
