Nanny, Get Your Gun
As a conservative, I find contemporary liberalism utterly shameless in its endless Moralizing. No unfortunate event, regardless of how obscure, is immune from being overhyped by the liberal media if it can help advance The Left’s agenda. This is particularly true of gun control: Libtards claim that marginal restrictions to firearms would result in a safer society, when in fact the opposite is true. For example:
Police say an angry 4-year-old Ohio boy grabbed a gun from a closet and shot his baby sitter. Nathan Beavers, 18, was hospitalized Sunday with minor wounds to his arm and side after the shotgun attack. Police say another teen was also injured.
If that baby sitter had been armed, he could have shot his miniature attacker and this whole tragedy could have been avoided. Instead, yet another innocent American is paying the price to live in the liberal Dystopia the Democrats have created. What’s more alarming is that as Barack Hussein Obama begins confiscating our firearms and melting them into a likeness of his great Islamo-pagan earth goddess, Oprah, these peewee superpredators will continue to get away with, quite literally, murder. Only when Our Nation is free to express the Second Amendment in all its Glorious firepower will we be safe from their lawlessness. Praise Him!

I read this story, too. I thought it was a good thing the 4-year-old had the gun so he could repel the deviant sexual advances of this wolf in baby sitter’s clothing. The thing that disturbed me most is that the boy had to run to the closet to get the gun. If his parents are going to leave him in the presence of menacing predators, the least they could do is buy the boy a holster.

While the parents may have been lax in putting the gun in the closet, they did at least display some foresight by leaving it loaded, and with the safety apparently off.
