The Most Dangerous Man on the Planet Gets Away
He endangered the entire world by selling nuke technology to several anti-Western nutballs. And now he’s a free man. Almost.
He won’t be able to travel without fear of being kidnapped. It’s conceivable al-Qaida could kidnap him inside of Pakistan. Or maybe he’d go voluntarily as an al-qaida member. We still really don’t know.
We also don’t know who - in the Pakistan government and military - might have aided his illegal proliferation gig. And now we’re supposed to play kissyface with Pakistan’s leadership? Why, exactly?
The global nuclear arms race was winding down when Khan came along. He reignited nuclear powered ambitions globally and profited greatly. And now we have to wonder which nutball he’ll next arm.
If ever there were a case for a covert takedown, this is the only one I could ever conceive of.
Now repeat after me: “Pakistan is our pal.” You know, the country that provided key training schools for Al Qaida.
